Holy Wild + Sacred Still

Acrylic on 350gsm canvas paper.
Collection: Black & Bone (Collection I)
Made in the Mojave Desert
A ritual. A love story with the desert.
If I look deep enough I am sure there is a reason why I landed on this form that I have been working on for years.
I think I was trying to manifest a life in the desert long before I ever lived here. I think she speaks to the quiet act of following our own inner guide. I think she reminds me that, like brushstrokes, no two of us are ever the same. Or maybe she has become an archetype of the people who continue to draw me in—free, wild, and guided by their own vision.
Either way, it is now my ritual, my offering.
Connected by the same figure, every work is painted by hand and exists as its own original.
